Welcome to RomCrate! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our game collection management platform and digital community ("Service"). By creating an account or using our Service, you fully agree to these Terms.
By accessing RomCrate, you declare that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any provision herein, you are not authorized to use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
To access most features, you will need to create an account. You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
RomCrate is a software as a service (SaaS) in Beta. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license for personal, non-commercial use of the Service. Under no circumstances may you: a) Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code; b) Remove or alter any copyright notices or trademarks; c) Use the Service for illegal or abusive purposes.
The brand, logo, visual identity, software, and all content created by RomCrate are our exclusive property or that of our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You are solely responsible for any content you post (reviews, lists, images). You retain ownership rights, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content in connection with the Service operation. We reserve the right to remove any inappropriate content.
We offer paid digital products via Stripe, such as the "Founder Badge" (one-time purchase) and the "Pro" plan (monthly subscription). By opting for a subscription, you agree to recurring charges to your payment method until canceled.
As a digital product to support development, refunds follow applicable digital commerce standards and consumer protection laws (e.g., 7-day cooling-off period in Brazil). You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund prorated amounts for periods already used.
The Service is provided "AS IS". Being in Beta, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are committed to employing security best practices but are not liable for losses resulting from improper use of the platform.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time through your profile settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising from this instrument shall be settled in the courts of São Paulo/SP, Brazil.
