Metroid Prime 4: Beyond

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was my first entry in the series. I was debating between getting this or the Remastered edition, but decided to go with this one on the Switch 2. The game is a shooter with a sort of open-world feel. You have distinct areas and a main objective, but the game involves a lot of exploration and backtracking across the map. Since this was my first time with the franchise, I really enjoyed it - especially the story and the supporting characters. I finished the game in about 12 hours.
